Hi there, my name is Kyle and I've recently graduated from the Spotlight accredited Acting Coach Scotland in Glasgow.

After getting into acting through making my own short films of the Harry Potter saga (yelling Stupify in fields with a stick), I joined the National Youth Theatre in 2018, where I realised the power that the arts have. Ever since I have been obsessed with making audiences feel a variety of emotions whether that be laughter or tears to help them escape into new worlds. In particular, I am most interested in helping audiences understand the distressing nature of adolescence and the mental health problems that come with it.

I take huge inspiration from the actor Timothee Chalamet whose work in films like Beautiful Boy and Call Me By Your Name has helped expose the reality of trying to find themselves in society.

To reach these ambitions, I understand the value of training and I'm constantly looking to increase my knowledge of acting. One experience in particular that helped me understand the importance of this was during my first on set experience with director R Paul Wilson on the short film Trilemma. It was here that I realised when the director shouts 'Action!', you have to trust that you have a technique and appropriate practice to perform under demanding situations.

Now that I've graduated, I look forward to working with highly passionate and creative people that strive to educate and show the reality of our society.
